Where: Sunset Coast BMX Track, 80 Attewell Road, Puni, Franklin
Club Nights are the heart of our BMX community. Whether you’re racing for the competition, riding for fun, or just starting out — Wednesday nights are for everyone to play bike.
How the Night Works
- Gates open: 5.00pm
- Check-in: 5.15pm – 5.45pm
- Racing starts: 6.00pm sharp
- Format: Three motos, dinner break, then two more motos before home time
First Time Riding?
Not sure if BMX is for you? Come along and try it out!
We offer a free trial session so you can give BMX a go before committing to membership. Gear hire is available — just bring long pants, long sleeves, and closed shoes.
Costs
- First 3 nights are free – come along and give BMX a go!
- After that, riders must hold a current BMXNZ licence and club membership to continue riding. Find out more here.
- Club Night levy: $3 per Sunset Coast BMX Club member ($5 per family) / $5 per member of another club ($8 per family)

Club Nights aren’t just about racing — they’re about learning, belonging, and having fun on bikes. It’s where new friendships are made and families come together.
Volunteers
Club Nights run because of our amazing parents and whānau who help on the gate, track, club kitchen, and more. If you’d like to lend a hand, let us know at check-in.
